at work. These stars may have married for love, but chances are their love of cash is what really motivated them to tie the knot.

She’s hot enough to land any man on Earth, but Salma Hayek happened to land billionaire French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault in 2009. They were engaged in 2007, had daughter Valentina, split in 2008—during which Pinault fathered a daughter with former supermodel Linda Evangelista—and reunited in 2009. Hmm...wonder why...

Former supermodel Jerry Hall first shacked up with Mick Jagger in 1976. They wed in an unofficial ceremony in 1990—a union that British courts declared invalid in 1999. But she still left with a nice sum of cash.  Hall is worth a cool $15 million herself, an amount that has likely increased since she married billionaire Rupert Murdoch in 2016.

Before marrying Sir Paul McCartney in 2002, Heather Mills was a quasi-famous British model. While the former Beatle seemed to adore Mills during their marriage, their bitter breakup suggests she had other motives. They divorced four years later and she took home $50 million, which she suggests  isn’t enough.  Furious after being awarded a "paltry" sum after asking for $250 million in their settlement, she griped to People:  "Everybody knows he is worth more than [$1.6 billion]." Unfortunately for Mills, no amount of money can buy her class. "I don't care too much for money.

Kevin Federline

When Kevin Federline hooked up with Britney Spears in 2004, he was a backup dancer who

dumped his baby mama, Shar Jackson, days after she gave birth to his second son.

Federline and Spears married within months, had two sons, and split in 2006.

Spears reportedly called Federline her "worst mistake," but thanked him for her babies.

Meanwhile, the fertile Federline, who's fathered two more kids with current wife Victoria Prince—for

a total of six—reportedly received $20,000 in monthly support payments from Spears until

he remarried.

They were together from 1994 until his death in 1995. In an effort to obtain some of Marshall's vast fortune, despite not being named in his will, Smith would fight and overturn judgments until her own death in 2007. Various judgments allotted the model $474 million, then another $88 million.

Wedding special. And it wouldn’t be the last time she cleaned up from a wedding. As for her  wedding to Kanye West, InTouch claims that Kardashian may have made roughly $10 million.  A source said that Kardashian used her experience from her wedding to Humphries to plan her wedding to West.

"She's taping everything else so she can get things for free in exchange for the exposure. They realized how much their wedding was costing, so they told E! they wouldn't allow parts of it to be taped unless the network offered them more than $15 million."
